HUMAN RIGHTS

Humanity 360’s unit on Human Rights provides students with an understanding behind the concept of and necessity for Human Rights, including the 30 Universal Human Rights declared within The Universal Declaration of Human Rights created by the United Nations back in 1948.

Once these concepts have been reviewed and discussed, students are introduced to the work of Amnesty International through interactive exhibits featuring Amnesty International’s Art for Rights campaign.

Discussion of three cases leads to students gaining a better understanding of their rights and responsibilities, toward themselves, others, society and the environment.
